I agree he has great potential, but I doubt he will start unless there are injuries.

    1) NT...we need a run stuffer to be able to contend...
2)OLB...we need someone who can get to the QB on a consistent basis...
3)Offensive playmaker...this can be RB, WR, or TE...until we get this, don't count on the playoffs...
4)OL...this need isn't as necessary as other positions even though we could be better...I say let our line mesh and see what they can do...Kendall will provide great veteran leadership for all of our youngsters ala Ferguson, Mangold, and Jones...

That makes no sense. He's played 3-4 DE for the Steelers, he is too small to play NT in a 3-4.

I'm more worried about the QB spot than anything. Ramsey has proven nothing and Penny is coming off another injury, so unless Ramsey produces (which I can see happening in one eye and in the other eye I see him getting dropped 5 times a game) we may have to see what Clemens is made of.
I'm hoping Pennington comes back healthy as soon as possible.

That aside, the the 3-4 defense is going to suffer unless we do something to acquire a true NT. I am pleased with the secondary as of now and MLB shouldn't be anything to worry about with J-Vilm manning the ship. I see poor pass rush coming from us this year, and that won't help a questionable overall team.
