Just don't agree with Houston/Leon being great. Leon is good, change of pace back. Houston's is nothing more than a 3rd string RB. He's terrible.

I do agree that improving the line will go a long way to making both our running game and passing game look better even without much changes there. That being said we should see improvement just from the fact that D'Brick and Mangold will have a full year under their belt. As others have mentioned we need to find an eventual replacement for Kendall but he's still one of our top if not best OL. After that we have Clement and Moore (even Jones and Moore since I thought I read that they may not try to do much if another team makes Clement an offer) which is where I (and others it seems from reading) think we can upgrade a bit more.

While I don't think either Leon or Houston may be a great back I do like the combination of them and think Houston could be a 1000 yard back if given the touches. They have a nice combo of size and speed between them and if you change the rotation from the 3 or 4 back rotation that was used this year to a 2 back rotation we'd be OK.

That being said if they can upgrade that's fine but I don't see it as major area of need if we can improve the line.

I don't see Houston as a 1,000 yard back, or, much more than one, if given the touches. I think he's an excellent backup.

I think Leon Washington is a guy who has a place in the offense and could be a serious weapon, but I think he needs to second fiddle to a more traditional back who can wear down a defense and run down the clock. I don't think we have that guy on roster and we're going to have to find him.
