He's got the perfect build and style for the position. I think he fits it better than he does a 4-3, though he should bulk up to around 305 for either position.

He and Oghobaase are two DT's who can sneak into the first if they have excellent offseasons...they're DTs that can play in multiple fronts at every position on the DL...teams will like their versatility and size. I think both are kind of underrated now...I'm rooting for them in the offseason.

Okay, I see Jones as a fundamentally different player than a Jared Odrick, who can get up the line and play laterally as well as penetrate and beat a single blocker though be neutralized against double teams. Odrick has that penetrating ability, but I've seen him string out more plays than stuff that altogether in the backfield. Sean Ellis is more of the Odrick than the Jones--Odrick started his career as a 43DE, and moved inside later while Jones playing outside in a 4-man front is inconceivable.

Odrick is severely overrated as a 3-4 DE prospect...or a prospect in general.

I don't trust a Penn State DT...And while his size is prototypical he didn't handle double teams as consistently as Jones or Oghobaase did. I can't buy Odrick's first round hype either...he's a good pick in the 3rd though.
