Jenks came off the field on his own power, guys.....I wouldn't write him off yet. If anything, they kept him out of the game as a precaution.
thats what im hoping..last year he had 2 guys help him off the field and im pretty sure he was carted to the back.
ACL injuries are tricky tho. I feel like I've def. seen players tear an ACL and still walk off on their own power.
jenkins has some rough luck, seriously. hoping to god its only a sprain. like every1 said, he did walk out on his own and that's definitely a positive. But, still, if hes out for the year or something that has to say something about his durability. He cant be looked upon as a great player if he cant stay on the field.
I did this myself. Torn in half and was able to walk off on my own. Also able to jog with no ACL. Its any type of side to side or power thats impossible withan injured one.
I hope this isn't an injury that knocks him out for the season but I won't be surprised if this wasn't his last play. Hindsight shows us that NT should have been a focus during the draft. Hopefully, practice proves hindsight wrong.
I think they really belive in Phoua and Kroul in the role for now. I don't belive we go after a NT type unless a complete freak like Nagata is there, and ATM I don't see anyone of that nature around. I'm sure WW85 or GM have better info on the NCAA's. In Rex's defense line men are less coveted than an OLB or Corners. Despite the problems at DB I doubt we take another corner anywhere near the top of the draft. Pass rushing OLB and RT are going to be major areas of need soon.
Again, we played most of last year without him. Does this suck? Big time, no doubt, but tis not a world ender.
That is awful. Contemplated retirement... Then gets convinced to come back, goes through surgery and a rigorous rehab and boom.
They can not do the MRI untill the swelling in the knee goes down, tomorrow some time at the earilest to be 100% sure if its an ACL/MCL injury.
