Who cares what your friends in preschool think of the jets or the Raiders. How many predicted the dolphins and falcons would finish with record they did last year.
Well to be fair, i did predict Rai8ders would throw abeating on Jets last year. Again your WR couldn't shake raiders Cb's. (they were all over them) You have no weapons that can hurt the Raiders. Last year your defense couldn't block Raiders pass rush. Not good when you add a Greg ellis and D burgess to the equation.
NO what I said Jet fans last year were going to win the AFc East. (if you believe preschoolers) They couldn't win one game on the west coast ande collapsed down the stretch . typical jet football. You know Jets are a product of their schedule. tough schedcule= should be drafting in top five again.
That's all you have. The Raiders beat the Jets last year but that doesn't make up for your retarded predictions of Raiders greatness being spectacular failures over and over again. You're the biggest homer on the face of the planet. Homers don't get respect from intelligent sports fans anywhere.
a beating??....the Raiders won on a LUCKY "hail mary" FG from that tub of lard kicker of yours. this is fucking laughable.
This thread is hilarious. Great Monday morning read. Cheered me up a bit. This was probably the best post ever. Not because it's just so goddamn nutty, but because if--as Jeaux says--height, weight, and speed truly measures who the best football players on the field are, then Gholston, whom he calls a bust, should be up there in his book as one of the players to look out for. Either that or something isn't adding up correctly. And staying with Jeaux's logic here...If Schilens is the next, but better, Brandon Marshall with those 1st year stats, then by your logic, David Clowney and his pre-season stats are looking like the next Steve Smith from Carolina. I'm happy with that. All of a sudden I don't feel as concerned abt our WR's and our offense as a whole. Wait...I think I just had an epiphany. Now I see how it all makes sense for Jeaux...
Weren't you guys ever taught that it's not nice to make fun of the mentally handicapped people of the world? Please stop picking on Joe. He can't help being how he is. It's not his fault he was kicked in the head by a mule as a child and hit in the head with a shovel as an adult. His brain has to have the consistency of rice pudding by now. Go easy on the poor guy.
It's a good thing Darrelle Revis will get some good practice against T.O. and Randy Moss before he really tests himself against future HoFer Charles in Charge Schilens. Your logic is weaker than Darrius Heyward-Bey's hamstrings. That's pretty fucking weak.
Did you watch the game last year. Im really making it up that Raiders cb's were all over Jets pathetic Wr corps(that included L Coles) . It was embarrassing that your Wr corps was taking so easily out of this game. You really think this is improving with a downgraded Wr corps. Leon Washington didn't have his worse game ever as a jet against the Raiders. y6ou think that was an acciudent. The great D Keller did squat against Raiders. You have no weapons on offense that can hurt the Raiders. Raiders don't have to p-ick on Revis when they have Lito sheppherd and D strickland to abuse much easier. Or D Harris or Bart Scott on Raiders Te Zach Miller or D Mcfadden . (matchups you can't win)
I love how you talk about all these "weapons" Oakland has yet they still have JeMarcus Russell throwing to them. The guy was a 55% passer and had the 24th lowest yards per attempt in a "vertical" offense. And now he's suppossed to be better because they drafted two guys that aren't good route runners at all, the more heralded one has yet to have a practice where he wasn't coming up lame. Every skill position player has durability issues and the offfensive line is average at best. 24th in sacks allowed and 10th in yards per carry translates to about middle of the road. So forgive me for not being too concerned about this dangerous offense.
Forget about the Jets for a minute. I don't claim to think the Jets are going to light up the league this year and would be surprised if they make the playoffs. However, can anyone sit here (not laughing) and tell me the Raiders are going to make the playoffs? The only reason they won't be last in their division is because it is by far the worst in the NFL. Sure, miracles happen, but if you had to bet your life savings on the Oakland Raiders making the playoffs, wouldn't you honestly think you'd be in trouble? If I were betting on the Jets making the playoffs I'd be nervous too, but if I were betting on Oakland, I'd go ahead and file for food stamps now to save time. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it at season's end. Will you?
^ Raiderjoke will admit it, immediately followed by the usual 'injuries' excuse, along with the players are young & developing, which has to happen before they can form a dynasty...DUH. The thing is, he was saying this stuff four years ago. Wouldn't those players have developed by now?
You know, I actually did watch that game last year, Joe. I remember your Raiders holding the Jets wide receivers to a measly 128 yards, 40 more yards than the Raiders wide receivers put up. I remember the most important player in your secondary was the fucking field, tripping a wide open Chris Baker before he waltzed in for a game-winning score. Oh but you're a running team, right? We outgained you by about fifty or so yards on the ground. We lost that game because of some mental mistakes and erratic quarterback play, not due to the abundance of talent at your skill positions.
