Bezos is very smart and built Amazon from scratch, as opposed to Woody, a trust fund baby that never had to work a day in his life. Bezos would either be more savvy or he'd hire someone topnotch to run the team.

If he is as aggressive with the Jets as he is with the retail sales, I am all for Bezos. He WILL keep people accountable if anything. Unlike Johnsons.

Owning a NFL franchise is a like owning a unicorn that shits out money.
There's absolutely no reason the Johnsons would ever consider selling the Jets.

Just out of curiosity, how would you define holding coaches accountable in the nfl?

Give them a time out like we do with three year olds. Never mind. Knowing the Jets, they'd somehow waste a time out.

    I’m down.

Like him or not he single handedly leveraged a new technology to turn the world upside down.

    We need that.

If he doesn't, I think that he would hire someone to run things. I don't believe that he would be a dilettante like Woody and Chris. I know he has good enough business sense that he'd be able to determine who was a quality man he could trust to run the team, hire him, then get out of his way. He'd let the man do his job, but he'd hold him accountable and expect immediate progress and success soon.

If not Jeff Bezos, how about Larry Page?

Why? It's not just about the money. Page has no connection to football or New York.

I'd rather go with Jimmy Page.

Bezos buying the Seahawks makes the most sense and there's been some PR about it over the last few weeks. A winner like him would be great for the Jets franchise, obviously. It's fun to dream.
