I watched all but the last season of Breaking Bad in about a 2 months time. The GF and I would throw on an episode, would watch another, and another I'd say "one more" and realize it was 2 am. Then the last season came on and at the end of the newest episode I'd say, "one more" and she'd look at me like I was an idiot. This week to week bullshit with Better Call Saul is...well...bullshit. _
All of season 2 is on optimum including the latest episode. Currently i am up to s4 e11 of BB while watching BCS at the same time. I don't know how i am so late to the party on BB
TBH I'm more interested in the Mike stuff than the Saul stuff. I do want more back story on why Chuck hates Jimmy, and why Chuck is such a bastard. It can't be just because of taking money from the dad. Or Jimmy probably being the cool kid, while Chuck was dry. Wondering if Jimmy has something to do with why Chuck wife isn't in the picture. I like Kim, and feel kind of bad that things probably aren't going to end up good for her.
Michael Mckean is a great actor, but boy does he piss me off on BCS, what a scumbag....I was hoping Jimmy would watch him die the other night
favorite is jesse, really like the charcter. even starting as a fuck up. can't stand hanks wife, annoying almost useless character. but the show as a whole is phenomenal.
Love mike. Almost enjoying his story on BCS more than jimmy's. Jesse on BB has had such an arc to the character. I went from thinking "stfu kid" to rooting for him. Great development there. Gus was great. Composed to the very end. I am torn between wanting to just binge the last 2 seasons and know the ending and not wanting to be done with it. I am ranking this right below the wire as all time favorite
the character development in both shows is just fantastic. both jesse and walt both were brilliantly done, conceived and acted. that was my favorite show that i have seen and it literally changed teh way that i like to watch tv. this and twd are the first shows i have ever caught up to and had to watch episode by episode and i much prefer watching on netflix.
What I'm looking forward to the most is how Mike and Gus came together, and what they did to make Hector the way he ends up. When I was watching breaking bad I just assumed he had ALS but now I'm thinking Gus & Mike had a hand in the condition he ends up being in.
How can you not binge it? The last season was so well done, and tension just kept building. I'm sure we are all jealous you get to watch it for the first time!
I just watched the Breaking Bad Season 2 Episode "Better Call Saul" with Saul's debut. Even with his transformation the last couple episodes, Jimmy is still not even CLOSE to Saul yet. Interesting to see how this series is going to keep changing/developing his character.
I'm so impatient with him becoming full blown Saul! I was watching a Breaking Bad episode last night, and I see what you mean. I really want to see what happens of Kim. I don't think it will be anything good though.
