Honestly bailey zappe would be a good signing. He's accurate, good arm, played well last year: 3 out of 4 games he started (or played significant time), he had a QBR over 100. 70.7% completion percentage. Wilson conversely has started 23 games and has just 1 game of a QBR over 100 and a career completion percentage of 55.6%

People here are whistling Dixie if they think we can find a QB that can come in and jump into the system right away and be successful. These folks are on the street with no job for a reason. Putting aside the usual anything is better than Wilson BS by a few here, reality is we are screwed, massively unfortunate what happened to AR, and is putting a tremendous amount of strain on a QB that is not ready to take the reigns. So the long term plan for development is also gone to shit. Short of a miracle, best we can hope for is a superior defensive effort and special team effort to supplement a run heavy game sprinkled with some safe passes to keep the game close. You have to keep the score around 20 to have a fighting chance. I’m completely ignoring the simple minded statistical analysis that expects for Zach to throw for 300 yards every game for us to win. That is horse shit. I do expect a game plan that helps the kid reduce risk, and for everyone around him to be just a bit better. Starting with the damned OL. The team needs to rally to the rescue around Zach. We have no other choice, till we bring in a vet and gets up to speed. Not shit all over him after a win like some of the so called fans around here.
