If we had a solid O line then maybe, but its only Week 2 way too early to tell.

I'm going to be in Western NY this weekend for a little college reunion....It will be amusing to see the Bills fans in a frenzy, talking playoffs, Super bowl etc.......always an easily excitable bunch. Hey I'll be rooting for them this weekend, that's for sure.

Really? They were 14-2 last season. They look to be heading for that mark this season. At this point, staying competitive seems to be the best teams can hope for. Maybe Marcell Dareus or Shawn Merriman can knock Brady out of the game next week. We might have a chance against Mallett.

I'm not sure Belichick is the type to really hold things back once the season begins. Sure, we've seen his offense rebranded via acquisition at times, but as far as simply sitting on a change for the right game, I don't buy it.

Gronkowski and Hernandez were also rookies last season. Gronkowski was clearly the better player last season. Offseason or no, Hernandez has stepped up to equal him, at least as a passcatcher. I'm not using last season's playoffs as evidence that the two can't cause the Jets headaches.

Unless there's some reference I'm not getting, I really don't see why that was necessary or appropriate.

I think we need to remember that a huge part of the advantage we had over the Patriots in January is that they simply hadn't prepared for the defense we threw at them. I can't see us surprising them twice, so execution is going to have to be near 100%, whatever we go with, since they'll have the film and the chance to prepare fully now.

Yeah, this is always the downside to playing them.

But it's a new season with new players and Belichick has to take that all into consideration. A daunting task. I'm confident we have at least a 50-50 chance this year against them.

W.ell the offense has been virtually unstoppable, but your next w statements aren't on the mark.

Yes the Pats gave up a lot of yds in the first 2 games, but only 2 yds fewer than what the Packers gave up, and no one is talking about how bad their defense is. However there are 17 teams in the league who have allowed more points that the Pats to date.

BTW- That idiot Tony Soprano has a better record vs Rex than Rex has against BB. Finally it wasn't pressure that won the playoff game, it was the surprising and brilliant change to zone defenses and selective blitzing that was the key to the Jets victory. Historically teams that blitz a lot like the Steelers, do poorly against Brady. Or did you so quickly forget the 46 the Pats put up on the Jets usual Defensive strategy The majority of the sacks the Jets got that night was due to the coverage

you rely on what the jets did last season too much. SD had the number #1 defense in the afc last year, so your idea of the pats not having faced a real defense is CRAP!

fact is, what happened last season is in the past. this is a new year and nothing is expected, it has to be earned.
too many jets fans think because we got to the afc championship game 2 years in a row that we're a lock to get there again. the odds stack up greatly against us.

Look at their schedule in 2010 and tell me why youre a tard.

The Patriots, Texans, Colts were the ONLY good offenses they played the ENTIRE season.

Their other 13 games they played were all against the WORST offenses in the nfl.

Im not gonna really brag about team that shut down offensive juggernauts like the Chiefs, Jags, Seahawks, Cards, Raiders, Rams, Titans, Broncos, 49ers, and Bengals.

Esp when they didnt even make the god damn playoffs with a schedule that ridiculously pathetic

Admit it, you want the Bills to win. Almost every Jet fan would love to be in a first place tie in the AFCE with the Bills.

TBH, of the three other teams in the AFCE, I think a Jets-Bills race for the division crown would suit me best.

yeah, but you'd fall short of the wins needed to do so. As long as you can bump the Pats and Fags out of the race for good, Go Bills!

absolutely. Not that the bills really need to beat the fins to knock them out. In about 2 weeks, they will be all but out of it anyways.

hahaha yeah, but I want the Fins to do enough to keep Sparano and Henne there.

    They're a guaranteed shitty tandem.
