until the Jets go 2-0 against the pats under rex, he really shouldn't be taunting the rest of the league.

Only WK 2, too early to tell which AFC team is the best. New England and the Jets are looking solid, so far. The Jets defense will be fine, the offense (Sanchez) will determine our fate.

We have a legit shot at 12-4 or 11-5. Unfortunately, once again, other than us maybe once, I don't see who the Pats lose to with that offense.

Until somebody besides Rex & his evil twin brother can defeat the Pats, they're still the favorites. Jets are looking good & hopefully can avoid any letdowns.

Until someone figures out a way to stop Brady, the Pats are unfortunately the favorites.

Nobody here is saying the Jets can't beat the Patriots. What we're saying is that you have to consider the Pats in the discussion when the topic is "Best in the AFC".... How could you not? They're obviously a contender, just like we are.

I meant other than us. Someone besides us needs to be able to beat the Patriots.

Oh so that's what makes a good team now? 2-0 against the Pats? The Jets beat the Pats twice last year, once at home and once on the road. The Jets can hang with anyone in the league. If you don't like his chirping: good. That's the effect he's looking for.

As long as the Jets beat the Pats, both games, we will win the division, we can't lose games that should be wins (Miami, Buffalo, Oakland, Denver).

Jets can beat the Pats but the big problems is that the Jets do have letdowns in the regular season. I can picture the Pats losing both games to the Jets and still finishing the season with 3 losses.

Jets/Pats division will most likely put out a wildcard team with record better than most division winners.

had a feeling we couldn't count on san diego to beat new england they fold everytime. U look at least yr in san diego a game where jus like this one they kept shooting themselves in the foot. The playoff game in 06' where they had homefield advantage nd choked, and the yr later in 07' title game even tho tomlinson nd rivers were both hurt pathetic tired of hearin how great rivers is nd how everyone has them as SB favorites yr in nd yr out

    That was my point.

They can't lose games they should win, like next week in Oakland.

The New England game was a lot closer today than the score. the Pats looked good, not great. San Diego made some stupid ass plays to lose the game.

Its tough to get a good read on our ability today because of the Jags. Besides, its way too early to make any pronouncements.
