Give it 3 or 4 years till Brady retires and theres a solid chance that that will be the way our division turns out yearly

The Patriots but its obvious, their D anit sh!t. The answer, as always is to attack Tom Brady and watch how the entire team panic. Tom Brady is the Patriots bread and butter. You rattle him or take him out, this Patriot team goes down.

The Jets defense still matches up well with the Pats.

I have a feeling that until the Jets and Pats play, no one is going to slow Brady down.

LOL, name calling to win an arguement. ok retard right back and look at the jets schedule, it wasn't all that asome either.

fact is, SD has a top defense whether your homer self wants to admit it or not. in fact, i'll bet that defense gets the best of the jets this season when we play.

Then Mallett will take over and lead them to another decade of division dominance.

As long Brady & Belichit are in NE, they are always the #1 team in my eyes; until someone knocks em out

Sadly, I agree. Looking at their schedule, the toughest games they have are the Steelers, Eagles and Jets twice. I'd like to say they slip up here and there, but it's so rare (Browns last year...still finished 14-2). Even if they split their tough games, they are looking at 14-2. I think the Pats go anywhere from 12-4 to 15-1.

It just blows because I'd love to see the Jets take a different path in an attempt to make the SB (Division title, bye, home playoff games). We may be able to take them out in a playoff game, but I'd rather do it by taking the path of least resistance.

NE owns the Steelers for some reason- they don't even consider that to be a tough game- Buffalo plays them tougher typically (despite the long losing streak).

The Pats lose often to the Steelers in the regular season. It's in the playoffs they never lose to them.

Pats under belichick have only lost to the steelers twice. ever. once in 2004 and once with matt cassel in 2008. They have won every other time.

Yes, and the original poster said the Pats ALWAYS handle the Steelers and didn't consider it a tough match-up and the Bills were. 4-2 in the regular season is not always. And both of the losses were ugly. 15 in a row against the Bills hardly makes this a tougher match-up.

But 2-0 in the postseason is. Which is what I said.

The pats always have a chance if a game becomes a shootout.

If the game becomes a defensive struggle, they are quickly outmatched.

Pats are still # 1 because no goddamned team beside us ever beats them.

We're ok, you guys have proven you can beat us and the Bills always play us tough. Wouldn't be surprised to see you guys take the division lead this week and never look back.

Our defense has serious holes again, and I look for many teams to exploit it. Once you contain our offense, we're beatable.

That will certainly be the big game. A good matchup indeed. Even if the Pats or Jets stumble before then, game 5 will say alot about who gets the AFC east.

I still think the division belongs to Patriots until someone takes it from them for an extended period of time. It hasn't happened so far in my book, and so Patriots is the best team in AFC East.

Uhm lets take a look at that Jets schedule there brospeh

They played Bears (NFCCG), Steelers (super bowl) Pats x2 (speaks for itself), Texans, Packers (superbowl) Vikings (With Favre/before their collapse) Ravens.

Thats half their season right there against some of the highest lvl talent in the nfl.

And you really want to compare the Chargers to that ? The Chargers who couldnt make the playoffs with one of the easiest schedules in the nfl, but no im the homer amright.

And just an FYI the chargers had the 3rd easiest SOS going into that season,

texans an vikes? lol you truly are a joke. trying to name teams that were bottom dwellers yet playoff like contenders. too funny homer!

sd was a playoff team for years before last years folley. they'll be back in the hunt again this year where they usually are, they're too good not to be.

now tell me all about how the texans/vikings have always been playoff contenders . lol

Dirtywater- The Bills always play the Pats tough? Last ten games; Patriots are 10-0 with an average margin of victory of 17 points. If you're going to try and endear yourself to Jet's fans, at least use facts.
