chargers throwback and navy blue are both awesome....i also like the bills "new throwback" blue jerseys that they wore this year a couple of times....and the lions black alternates as someone said before are sick as well
Maybe back in the 1970s and 1980s. Not anymore, though. Players no longer wear sleeves. Therefore, horizontal "sleeve" striping no longer has any place on a football jersey. That yellow stuff on the sides of the Steelers jerseys make them look like clowns. They have to do away with that stuff now. It is okay to have a small horizontal stripe like the Chiefs or Redskins, but those big gawdy stripes as seen on the Packers and Steelers jerseys are ridiculous. When I see those jerseys my eyes immediately focus on those stripes and I ask, "How could anybody think that looks good?"
I don't understand why San Diego wears anything BUT the powder blue uniforms. The Bears and Browns old-style are great. As far as new-school, Arizona has done the best by keeping it simple. Overall, the only one that comes close to the Jets is the powder blues. -X-
I think the Falcons, Raiders, and Broncos both have great unies. On the other hand, Greenbay, Cleveland, and Miami all have hideous duds.
10 votes so far for the Steelers, Packers, Cowboys, and Colts- four teams with "sleeve"/sides/armpit/shoulder striping issues. Geez. People apparently like that stuff. One time the Steelers, Packers, and Cowboys wore sleeves and the horizontal striping wrapped around the sleeve. It looked nice. Now it just stops halfway and looks abominable. Look at pictures from Peyton Manning's rookie year and compare them with pictures from last season. Look at the vertical striping by the shoulders. You tell me it looks better today and I'll tell you you're nuts.
Bears. Browns. The Raiders also have a classic look - once you get beyond the urine stains. A few minor points. Bengals's uniforms hurt my eyes. They look like they were designed by Christopher Lowell. Anyone who votes for the Ravens should be banished from the board forever, no matter how much seniority. Fans of any team with teal in its colors is over-compensating when they say they are the best. They're not. Everyone knows what they are, and we understand you have to praise them like you do. Doesn't make you bad people. Just avid teal-wearing-football-team fans. Just post your thoughts. Get it over with, and we'll all wink at each other and know the way it is.
im a huge fan of the chargers uni's. they are stylish and sleek, yet have a certain meanness/intimidation factor to them. other than that i really like the cardinals new jersies, they are very modern and smooth looking
