Hah, it would've been great if that pint-sized punk duked it out with Graham. He'd never hear the end of it. Everyone would be like, "Dude, you got beaten up by a punter." The only possible thing more humiliating than that would be getting closelined by the flag boy.
I would love to see this. I was waiting for Benny to unleash the mongrel. It is pretty common in Aussie rules to have scuffles like this and as long as no contact is made to the face then the refs usually give a caution and move on. It's a bit hard to do any damage with all that padding. A bruised ego maybe?
maybe a brusied ego... but probably not. theres a lot of scuffles and talking in the NFL... two years in the league, two years in NY... some of the attitude has probably rubbed off. and that will only win him fans:up:
Quite a funny move Graham, I'm still waiting for him the day they line Graham up as a decoy in a goal line situation and the defense pays him no attention and Chad hits him for a 2 yard TD pass. As far as the bounce, I'm sure it's quite different but I can bounce a rugby ball...
McBriar is a Melbourne lad, I'm fairly sure, or at least that was where he was living when he was recruited. I'm fairly sure he went to Assumption College, Kilmore, which is a well known Australian Rules Football school that is just out of Melbourne. Most of the good footballers from rural areas go to school there. He never played as a pro, but took part in a punting competition here from where he was recruited to go to college in Hawaii. Talking of punting competitions, over the last weekend a town near me held the annual "Silo Kick" competition. This competition basically involves a competitor trying to kick a football over a wheat silo. This is the silo at Mirrool where the competition on the weekend was held: The one at the forefront is a made up "silo" used for the competition for children: the one in the background is the one for adults featuring a real silo. To give you a sense of perspective, the silo in the background is about 60 - 70 yards high: anyone who punts a football over the silo wins the cash prize for the day.
I have to start Tivoing the games and saving them...It was great...Not much of an incident...just enough for CBS to replay it coming back from commercial... BTW CBS is a national network that shows NFL games.
does Graham do the holding on the PAT and on FG's? Id like to see them fake one and let him run with the ball. I think it would be like Bobby Bouche running with the ball.....lol...
Stevep posted highlights here and as TBTF said the Graham elbow is at the start. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=13219
The weekly brawl is only practise for Sunday nights where all the players go into the outback and wrestle kangaroo's for dinner.
How dare he want a flag thrown for being elbowed as they were walking past an official. Does he not know who we are?
we got another aussie here. Welcome mate edit: actually it looks like u have been round here for a while
I'm of the view that asking for flags is pathetic. Let the refs call penalties and get on with playing the game.
