You complain in one post about one word from your quote being left out yet you completely mischaracterize what I said to fit your needs.

I did not say that you had to be a moron to believe Goodell. What I said was

"You have to be seriously brain damaged to believe this statement, "Goodel also stated that none of the tapes had any bearing on the outcome of the games."

WHY WOULD YOU TAPE YOUR OPPONENT IF IT DID NOT HELP YOU?
IF TAPING YOUR OPPONENT HELPED YOU WIN, IT HAD AN EFFECT ON THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME. "

    Got it now?

I purposely haven't been following this the past few days because I tend to have no faith in institutions. Is it really any surprise how it all turned out? C'mon, already. Who in their right mind truly expected anything else.

Heh, I do remember this, though. Hearing it, that is. It took me a while to remember the guy's name, and the only reason I did remember it was because it reminded me of Dan Leberfeld and a near bad pun. Dan LeBatard (LaBatard, exact sp?) from some Miami rag mentioned he heard through the rumor mill how blown away Doug Flutie was in 2005 when he realized what was being pumped into his helmet, alerting Tom Brady what to look for. As in spelled out. As in the other teams plays like a damn movie script. Supposedly LeBatard tried to talk to Flutie several times but he kept hanging up on him and refused to talk to him about it after Spygate broke.

The other version I recall is that Flutie picked up the wrong helmet, and heard a voice instructing Brady what was coming. When Flutie asked about it, brass told him to forget it. And fast. Now it's all hearsay, and I'm hardpressed to believe hearsay. However, I'm also hardpressed to believe that it's completely false given the comb over we've all been subjected to. Anyway, good for a Belilaugh just the same. So to that I say, "HAW! HAW! HAW!"

EDIT: I never look anything up, so if anyone has time on their hands and wants to try to find links, please do so. If there's anything left that hasn't been removed by Patriots Fascists, that is. Now isn't that an oxymoron for the ages.

My honest thought it is Matt Walsh was a made up person by the NFL. Sure he really exists but the media monster the NFL pumped him up as to having damaging evidence but in reality the NFL knew by him having nothing it would make them and the cheatriots come out looking squeky clean.

I think Goodell and everybody involved knows there is definately something to hide but the 32 grey bastards that run these franchises could never have the cash cow take a hit so they did the best thing they could and make up this phony story about Matt Walsh and his tapes and this walk through bs that never existed.

Here's a link to the Le Batard/Flutie story:

"i’ve heard second hand about doug flutie being amazed when he got there that the plays were being piped into his helmet warning brady what was coming…..we’ve tried to talk to flutie on our radio show about it but he hangs up on my producer….."

    Dooooo!
You know, despite the fact Flutie played for the wrong teams his whole career, he always struck me as a decent and humble guy -- respected by many. I don't think he would lie/purger himself. If they can get to Flutie in the imminent investigation -- he could one of the star witnesses
