I firmly believe that Bowles wanted to stick with Fitz for at least one more game. They are setting themselves up for a "fool's gold" type situation if Geno plays well with the easier schedule.
The beginning of the end of my faith in Bowles was Week 17 last year. Just pathetic. Then this year @chiefs, @Steelers and @Cardinals. The team just does not look prepared each game. Going (10-6) in 2015 gives him Year 3 I think. However, I have definitely lost faith in him. He has been terrible in 2016.
There's going to be an awful lot of disappointed jet fans around here. The coach ain't going anywhere for at least 2 more years. After firing a gm after 2 years woody is not going to pull the plug on anyone. Stability is what we have been missing for years. To bad it's not with the right coach or gm. They both have done a lousy job but will be given lots of chances to prove themselves. For our sake let's hope it turns around. Bottom line until we get a franchise qb it really does not matter. That's the one constant.
