Just curious, does anyone know how much more we'll save in addition to the $2.6 million saved from Barlow's cut if we cut the above guys mentioned? We might be like $35 million under the cap by the time free agency starts!

Why is it silly? You guys are looking at guys like Bush and Hunt who are 250 pounds, Leonard is far more athletic than them..........

Where are we going to lose the other 10 million from?

That was my question, I just threw out 35 million. By cutting McCairens, Barret, Dwight, Blaylock, that would be a bunch of gained cap space, I just don't know how much...

I'll say that race has NOTHING to do with it.

I liked Barlow. Sure he wasn't great, but he ran hard in the Patriot win.

    Leonard is not a RB. He's a FB/TE (a.k.a. H-Back).

Good riddance! Barlow was beyond awful. Now for blaylock, and possibly Houston as well.

No way Houston gets cut. I think he really impressed the CS at the end of the season. I personally like him because he runs hard and has decent vision. I like the way he picks a hole then hits it.

I think it was worth it. I figured a 4th round pick was a good gamble at the time they made the trade and I'll stand by that now. It beats the hell out of a trading a 6th rounder for a player (Pete Hunter) who never suited up for the Jets.

I like him a little too, but he seems to be injury prone.

how many times was that said about the dude in your avatar? Let Curtis say when he's done. He's came close, but hasn't said so yet.

Houston will be our 3rd string back next year. Washington will be given the chance to fit it out with a back we sign or draft. We need a better running game next year if we want to improve

That starts with improving the horrid run blocking first and foremost. Barlow sucked no doubt but so did the run blocking. This line rarely if ever blew another team off the LOS. It pass blocked well enough but there are major areas for improvement. Once the line is fixed, I would be more apt to say if the RBBC,specifically Houston, will or will not be adequate enough.
