Moore is a beast. I fully expect him to be gone before our Pick. If he lasts and we stick with a 34, he would be a perfect fit.
Interesting you say this, during Pregame the point was made that Boyd himself realized this tendency to loose control and get rattled, he said coming into his junior year he was going to make an effort to stay poised come what may. If this was a glimpse of him maturing I really like what I saw because he was level headed during the whole game, and he took a beating last night. Can't wait to see him next year with the same cast, unless he gets injured I think he will develope into a very good NFL QB, he already has the physical skills.
I don't know where I stand on Mingo, he has an incredible first step and rush moves, but he can't play the run too well, hasn't played well this season and is raw as hell, but he has an amazing name haha , but seriously I want to see more
We need a pass rusher is what I heard all last season and this season .... Run Defense needs to get better overall but a Pass Rusher with healthy Revis and Cro with Landry over the top would be something we lack... Usually whatever the fans chant that day of the draft we up and do the opposite anyways. It shall be interesting
Boyd Might of been the Best on Offense but Minter was tge best player on Defense 19 Tackles is incredible
An awesome player that has had a meteoric rise, he's now a top 5 prospect. Very productive, he constatntly makes plays.
No to Mingo...def.not at nine andprobably wouldnt touch him until the end of the 1st or somewhere in the second.
I've had similar arguements with fellow Tiger fans. Yes Boyd puts up gaudy numbers and came thru big against LSU, but look at the Orange Bowl last year. When things went South, so did he. Same can be said for the last two SC games. He also throws a lot of interceptions. Boyd is a very good player, but I don't believe starting NFL caliber. That said, with the right coaching he still might develop into a quality starter. He was a 5 star prospect coming out of HS in Va. Besides, I believe he's coming back to Clemson for his fourth year.
