speaking of banned posters, was there a mass purge several years back? i don't recall it ever being mentioned, but it seemed an entire group of obnoxious posters all disappeared at once. it definitely made the board better. what was the story behind that? have always been curious.
He was a pain in the ass, but I never questioned how big of a Jet fan he actually was. I appreciated that. There are plenty of guys that post here, who I question how big of a Jet fan they actually are. But I dont think the board is losing too much.
There was a start of a rival board and they were trying to make this board unstable by derailing every thread and other such actions from what I recall. Not too sure if that is the gist of it.

that was just an epic thread! Lost in all the awesomeness throughout, that spreads across years, is towards the end where the thread kind of loses steam in Sept 2011. That was mere days before the 2011 season began and the day we found out Peyton Manning would be lost for the season & The Colts brought in Kerry Collins. In yet another pathetic example of Junc's stupid bias on all things Manning, he makes the claim that the Colts will still win 10 games with Collins because I mean- Manning couldn't be a reason they won so many games ya know? The Colts finished 2-14 btw.
The best thing about this thread is that junc isn't banned and it's just one more thing you unknowledgeable fans are wrong about.
