The more the better....I would love the day when I drive to work in Las Vegas and I see multiple bumper stickers with Jets logos the way I see the Cowboys and Steelers.

Tweet response from the Jets about the hat and letter.

"That was a rookie gift for first time STHs."

    That's BS right??

I don't know what the answer is here.

Who can we ask? Hmmm, I know! Where are our resident Pats* bandwagoners? DaPats? GoPats? Show yourself and tell us about the costs and benefits of bandwagon fanhood.

Could be. This is the first year I've gotten my own season tickets. In previous years I always used to get them off ebay/stubhub.

    Oh Okay-

I told the Jets via twitter that this is BS.

Fans that have paid for years don't get treats but new ones do. I don't think they should've tweeted that.

I know it's just a hat and letter but still. I didn't get my section hat this year either, and I bought my freakin PSL's months ago. When I get my tix next year I better get a authentic Jersey and something autographed, lol.

I bet at 7-1 we would find friends who had been Jets fans forever. Assuming such a record actually happened.

Haha. Relax man. It's just a dinky hat. The notion was cool. It was a good way to welcome the new season ticket holders :):cough::pSL-potential buyers::cough:: ) with open arms. Nothing to get uppity about with the organization.

    LOL-

This is the first year the tix are in my name. My Pops finally transfered them because he was not doing the PSL stuff. I'm probably one of the biggest Jet homers there are, so they had me at, "Hi this is the Jets".

They didn't even send out the section hats this year like they've been doing.

Annoys the hell out of me. Living so far away from NY, if I rock a Jets jersey while they're having alot of success people will jump to the conclusion that I'm a glory fan. That's why I tend to wear my Curtis Martin 90% of the time I wear a jersey... That proves I know my Jets shit.

I hate bandwagon fans in the same way I hate Patriots and Dolphins fans. They jump on and act like they have been around for years when they really just come back when the team has any sort of success. Most of us on here have sat through too much bad shit over the years to have to deal with people who think they are fans because they get on board because of good start.

I doubt we'll get many bandwagon fans. In all likelihood, we'll just get more haters and balance everything out.

Those Farvian Jet Fans pissed me off no end. They showed up when Farve was here. Then they all vanished when Farve left. Every time one shows up around here, its open season on their asses. Bandwagon fans always tip their hand. We saw them last year when the Jets did their imitation of the Mets and folded the last 5 games. One by one, they faded to black and good riddance to them. They're like the family members that show up after you hit the lottery.. Fck em all!

Only Jets fans would be bitter enough to hate fellow fans for not suffering for long enough before rooting for the team.

If fans start rooting for the team while they're doing well, good for them--the more the merrier. If they ditch the team when they start losing again, fuck 'em.

Why do some people take this kind of stuff so seriously?

^ Because I get lumped in with them.

then I look like a bandwagoner unless I lament about the days of Herm and Mangini and Ryan is like Parcells and Vinny in 98 and C-Mart.

maybe a Joel Dressen joke or two.... if there is time.
