But wasn't Pete Carroll told that the new HC would have total control? Where does that leave Mueller? And what if the new HC wants no part of Capers?
I called that poster out on that and he didn't resond. He posted it late last night and from 4:00 to like midnight on FAN it was Divisional round football.
You know, you threw a ton of crap in a lot of faces on this site. You went after every positive Jet poster during the spring and summer months. Not going to rehash all of the garbage and attacks you tossed around here..but maybe it would be nice to admit you were one arrogant SOB. Dont really care how wrong you were..we are all wrong some of the time. Then you stopped posting (which as far as Im concerned was the lowest blow of all). I would think you might agree that this site has been pretty respectful towards you upon your return after you labled many on this site for being blind and full of "homers" when you did the same. Do you agree with that?
Things changed after Carroll was no longer on our radar. Wayne decided to pull the "full control" approach once Carroll made it clear that he wasn't leaving USC.....
Jay Glazer just reported on Fox Pre Game that the Phins are fliying Jim Mora Jr. in for a second interview, and he is th eonly canidate given another interview
And Mike Tomlin going for his 2nd Monday. Usually Glazer is very reliable and pinpoint...Not sure what to really think.
I really want Schottenheimer to stay with the Jets. We all know he was such a great Offensive Coordinator and it'd be great if he sticks with the Jets for a while. I honestly don't know how well he could do that the Head Coach position. Miami is buying in the "young coach phenomenon" that Mangini and the Jets created.
Sid Rosenberg who host a radio show in Miami said the other day that Mora was the man. He refuse to say where he got the info from. I posted it earlier in this thread when I heard it
Awhile ain't gonna happen. Unless the Jet's O takes a step back next year Schotty's gonna be gone somewhere at the end of the year, probably to Philly. The only way we keep Schotty for awhile is if we don't want him, due to problems emerging in the Jet's O.
I praised the hiring of Mangini, and I gave major props to your draft as well. Maybe I threw alittle smack around in between, but to say that I was throwing crap in the members faces here, is an outright lie.... Now you're saying I threw attacks??... I'm an even tempered member here in my opinion, and I don't do the "personal attacks" thing. Call me what you will, but have I ever come over here calling people names, or directed childish insults towards the members here??.... Oh, excuse me, but I do have a life outside of the GangGreen you know??... Have I ever not come back, and taken my lumps / eaten my crow?? I think I have, and I've done it without shame. Just because I'm not here every waking hour, doesn't mean I'm hiding or attempting to aviod dealing with anything I may have spoken too soon about. You need to relax man.... I'm honored to be a member of TGG, and I always have been. I've been here longer than a lot of the regulars too. That said, I appreciate your honesty, and I hope you have an enjoyable off-season. Later.....
Well the Dolphins have not been all that good at masking their intentions under Huizenga. Maybe Rosenberg has the goods. If so then we get Schottenheimer back for another year and I'll be happy with that. I really won't be all that broken up if he leaves though, as long as the Jets get an innovative, attacking OC to replace him.
Let's hope Glazer has this one correct. To keep Schottenheimer, AND have the Phins hire someone like Mora Jr. would be great for the Jets.
