You could post this stuff from game one this year. Nothing has gotten better. Coaching is still awful. The offensive line is awful and Zach is more Jekyll than Mr Hyde. Saleh makes no in game adjustments and the offense is as vanilla as they come. It is pitiful to watch.
Boyle was even worse than Wilson and that's after the Bills started to rest starters - which seems hard to believe but there you go
the offense was terrible but that elite D kept them to around 400 yards and 32 points while racking up an impressive 1 sack...
Douglas is an absolute joke. He treats his position as Jets GM like it's a side hustle. Every once in a while he signs some scrub linebacker or OT no one's ever heard of. Yet there have been glaring holes on the OLine at wide receiver and back up quarterback since the beginning of the season.
There's too much wrong with this team for Rodgers to be able to overcome next year. Even if he plays all 17 games next year, we're looking at 7-8 wins, tops, and another year added on to the playoff drought and another year of postponing the umpteenth roster blow-up and rebuild that is undoubtedly coming. There's no saving this team. No playmakers on offense outside of Breece Hall. It's not getting fixed in an offseason. 2025 is the earliest we can realistically have any hope to even make a run at the #7 seed.
Maybe it was just the fact that it felt like an elephant stepped off my chest when I didn't see #2 under center, but the offense didn't seem so stuck in concrete as it had earlier. Boyle sucks though, so there wasn't anywhere to go with that.
If they start seeing empty seats and a decline in season ticket holders they will. This team is a trophy and tax write-off for Woody. We need an owner like Jerry Jones. Say what you will but he loves the Cowboys and views them as a year round job. Saleh would have already been fired by Jones coaching a team this way. The Jets play like they just learned football.
That is completely and utterly false. Boyle clearly had more poise and understanding than Zach. He got the team up to the line quickly and got the ball out to his hot reads when he had to. He clearly understood what he was seeing out there. His int was a must throw on 4th down and Conklin was the right read. Rasul Douglas broke off his coverage and undercut the route. It was a hell of a play.
Yeah this is accurate. One of the reasons the Jets perpetually stink is because they are unable to accurately assess their own team. They take wins at face value without diving deeper into why they won or by how much. It results in consistent overestimation of their own aptitude and thus a lack of ability to fix problems because they don't even realize which problems they have.
How many yards did he throw for with the same number of completions? How many points did we score while he played? Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk
