Wasn't expecting a baby an excuse for last OTAs? Now he recently had the baby, hence he is skipping this one. I know this is unpopular take, but I doubt the baby is the only reason why he is not here. I think now he is a few weeks away. Baby or no baby, I doubt he was showing up for the OTAs.
If he shows up in fantastic shape, all will be forgiven. If he shows up in less than great shape, this nonsense with skipping OTAs has eliminated whatever slack he would have otherwise been given.
