I read the Infinity Wars collection, so I have an idea of what will happen (although half the characters can't even be used since other companies own their rights). I was a little disappointed because there was a lot of backstory that wasn't in the collection and it seems that there is no collection I could purchase that would fill in the void of my knowledge. I think I have a year, but my only real "must read" is Civil War before the movie comes out. Why wouldn't Quicksilver be dead? his fast metabolism or whatever?
Infinity Wars or Infinity Gauntlet? Infinity Wars was a dissapointing sequel..I never read it. The true story that inspired and brought Thanos his fame is the Infinity Gauntlet 6-part comic. What a book. I own it
Oh, it must be Gauntlet. The one where Spoiler: Spoiler Adam Warlock ends up with the Gauntlet and Thanos goes into self exile . You don't get to see how Thanos gets the gauntlet or gems in the book. How he died and met Death. All that stuff has already happened. Evidently there are some comics that explain it all, but there doesn't seem to be a book or compendium of that part of the story.
Yes, Quicksilver is very much dead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the better, much cooler, version of Quicksilver is alive and well in the X-Men universe and will appear in the next film: X-Men: Apocalypse.
What idiot would open up this movie thread and not expect spoilers? Anyway this was mostly a filler to introduce more characters for the infinity wars which is fine, whatever is a solid movie overall. And quicksilver will likely be brought back with one of the infinity gems. You don't introduce a character like that and not have him appear in subsequent films.

Does ANT MAN deserve it's own thread? I say no. I saw it though and I enjoyed it. Paul Rudd is the man. Not really an action movie though. More of a comedy. Has some cool action scenes though. I give it a solid B+. I mean, come on! It's Ant Man! How much better of a movie could they have made?
I'm hoping to see this one. Really looking forward to seeing Cap 3. I know the hot topic is that Marvel doesn't have any good guys outside of Loki. Well, when the "bad guys" are half of the Avengers, it should make it a little more interesting.
