If Gesicki makes it to our 2nd we should draft him even if we sign any of these scrubs. If we came out of the draft with QB, Price & Gesicki I might start thinking Mac knows what he’s doing. Sadly I won’t be surprised if he goes to NE end of Rd 1.
Weak. He signed a 2 year $10m deal, which could get to 11 with incentives. So he turns down the Jets $4m offer, and accepts $5m from the Jags. I had heard that the Jets increased their offer, but had no idea what it was for. I guess he just really wanted to leave. One would think the Jets could have easily matched that offer.
Doesn’t seem to be that they were concerned about him leaving and can’t really say I blame them. Pair a rookie QB with a rookie TE, perhaps reunite Baker and Andrews?
