Assuming Darnold goes #1 Who do you want?

I'm on the Allen bandwagon...He reminds me of Rivers and I think he has the potential to be a top 3 QB in the NFL...

that said, we are the JETS and have ZEEEEROOOOOO instances where we developed a QB and succeeded ..

I'm leading towards Rosen. Saw some clips from his pro day in the wind and was impressed. Im not particularly high on any of the QBs to be honest but he seems to be the most pro ready

I want Baker for his swagger, but I think if Rosen is there as well at 3 they take him.

If the draft goes darnold Barkley you will see vapor trails behind the pick going up to goodell

If Darnold and Rosen both wind up in NY/NJ one of them will be on the backpage of the tabloids every Monday during the football season for years to come. We may well have the tabloids voting about who is the better QB by who gets top billing on the backpage.

Hopefully Rosen, Darnold or Allen, I'm so stocked to finally have a chance at a legit FQB, but THIS is the Jets whomever they draft, most likely!will be a complete bust

 

It's just before the Giants second Super Bowl parade. The streets are blocked off and crowds line the parade area from start to finish.

An intrepid young reporter goes up to a group of teenage girls and asks who they want to see in the parade. The scream from the group comes back almost unanimously "MARK SANCHEZ!"

Rosen, then Mayfield, then IF IT WERE ME, Barkley, but Macc will take Allen because he didn't spend this much for a RB no matter how great he is.

 

Its either Darnold or Mayfield imo. Rosen's concussion history is a red flag, Allen =Hack and Jackson=RG3.
Although Mayfield has off the field issues he has a pro resume. He has played big in big games.
If they r both gone i want Barkley or tade back down, we have Teddy and we can try again next year if necessary. Whoever they get has to be a potential starter immediately. I am afraid of the Blair Thomas possibility but Barkley loves the Jets and can holefully start day 1...splitting reps wih crowell. We can trade Powell or let him go.
We would have 2 homerun hitters in the backfield and the play action/ rpo would be highly effective.
Both can catch out of the backfield or line up as a receiver and beat most lb's.

 

We're going to have to hope that that one of the Browns and Giants take Barkley and maybe Fitzpatrick, my hope is that the Browns do take Barkley knowing they can get a QB at 4, because I get the feeling that the Giants might pick him up.

 

With our track record of developing QBs, it doesn't make any difference if the Jets select Allen or me at #3.
