1. Yes, Jenkins is amazing when he is healthy. Unfortunately, two years in a row, Jenkins has been injured and an ACL tear on a 31 year old NT who is pushing 360lbs is not the ideal situation for a 3-4 defense. 2. Pouha has performed admirably in Jenkins' absence but he was not and is not an elite starter at the position. He has a much better value at DE which is where I would like to see him stay, especially if the Jets let Douglas walk. 3. Agree to disagree on Cody, but the original problem I had with J n 'B was his suggestion to send a 1st and a 2nd this year over to the Raiders for Asomugha. I would much rather keep both picks and take a CB + NT in the 1st and 2nd, either order. We have a great chance to come away with either Cody and McCourty or Willson and Boo Robinson which could help sure up two spots on this defense.
I may have said a 1st and a 2nd this yr., but I actually meant a 1st this yr and a conditional 2nd next yr. Im a huge supporter of conditional draft picks and they can only take place in the following yf.
Anyways Cato, thing is you have your own opinion. And I have my own opinion. I was offended when you started calling me out. Besides, we probably won't be getting Aso anyways.

Nnamdi Asomugha-DB- Raiders Mar. 3 - 10:55 pm et Raiders beat writer Jerry McDonald suggests that Stanford Routt may have gotten the highest possible restricted free agent tender because the club is counting on trading Nnamdi Asomugha. McDonald's first mistake, probably, is applying logic when assessing a Raiders move. What's less reasonable (in Al Davis' mind) would be thinking Asomugha is tradeable as the league's highest paid defender on an annual basis. Either way, we doubt Routt would've received interest had the Raiders tendered him with a second-rounder, much less at the original pick level. Source: Oakland Tribune
