Yeah I have no clue what they're going to do with Lady Stoneheart on the show, especially since Brienne is basically already pointed in the right direction without her.
Doesnt matter Brienne could run into Beric and Lady Stoneheart and she will be called out for having Ned's old sword which is now Oathkeeper
Other things that bother me: Why would the Hound announce himself to the guards? He's got a bounty on his head from Kings Landing. Littlefinger in the books was playing the lords of the Vale like a fiddle, the guy in the show got hamstrung when he found out Yohn Royce and Co went and got Sansa without his knowledge, then sat there like a kid outside the principal's office the whole time. Stupid. Didn't Jorah already receive his sealed pardon from Robert Baratheon earlier in the show? Why the second pardon? They are really fucking this show up
The pardon was a fake written by Tywin to sow discord I guess. Why he would bother is another question, maybe it was just a fuck you to Jorah because he stopped spying for the council. Definitely agree on the other two points.
Heh, probably more like Beinoff and Weiss were sitting there trying to figure out how best the butcher the rest of the season and were like "Oh, fuck, we forgot to banish Jorah. How can we do this in two brief scenes so we don't have to shorten the Beetles speech?" Mole's Town was pretty irrelevant, too, I guess they had to remind the audience about the Wildlings taking a year to get from the Wall to the Wall while Jon got back like 4 episodes ago. Hell, Jon even had time to take a group of men to Craster's and have a big fight, then travel all the way back, and the Wildlings are just now making it to Mole's Town. Looks like we'll be waiting until next season for them to draw lots for the new Lord Commander, no need for a Lord Commander when you have Alliser Thorne and Janos Slynt making all the decisions. I thought the only reason they took so long to choose the new LC in the books was because the Wildlings were racing to Castle Black.
I almost forgot about St. Ygritte sparing the baby, I hate whitewashing of characters to make them more sympathetic. I read that next weeks episode is going to be entirely on the wall storyline, I don't even want to watch it. Plus a lot of battles which may be the weakest part of the show.
so last episode was the first full episode I watched and everyone is saying it sucks. Lol. at least I'm not the only one who was like "wtf" after that beetle speech.
Too lazy to find the link but GRRM is starting to hint there will be 8 books. Edit: I got unlazy (you know, since all I have to do is click a mouse a few times). http://www.vulture.com/2014/06/song-of-ice-and-fire-could-be-8-not-7-books.html?mid=twitter_vulture
Great, so now when HBO films the season for the eighth book Bran will be a 35 year old piggy backing on a 75 year old Hodor...
wtf? Hodor A word used for a variety of things, ranging from a fierce battlecry to expressing one's emotions like a retarded stable boy. Dude, did you see me Hodor that guy? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Hodor
