 :rofl2: :manning: Poor Colts fans. Yeah, as a Patriots fan, I would of expected you to put Indy in your Top 5.
pretty ridiculous! Why even comment if you did not take it for real? Oh well whatever suits you! And for the record I disliked DUH HERM and would not rate him anything at all. In fact I do not know or remember the thread you are alluding to. I suppose it is another one that you did not take seriously! Enough already.
Yeah, after I posted I saw you were not the herm guy, you were a Dolphins 4 times guy. I took ten minutes out of my life and tallied all the votes up to that particular time. I cared enough to do it, but not enough to treat it like a term paper. Get it?
for a guy who allegedly does not take this seriously, you sure take a lot of time researching what other fans have to say and write, however inaccurate your compilation might be! You might be better suited to writing term papers! There you can talk all you want!
What is so difficult here? I had ten minutes to spare and at the time I was seeing a bunch of Redskins votes and not too many Bills votes. I decided to tally up the votes (page 3 of this thread). I could not include votes where people voted for the Dolphins 4 times because that skews the data. "A lot of time"- ten minutes, tops. If somebody else wants to do it might take 12-15 minutes because there are a couple extra pages of thread now. You got all huffy with me because I couldn't include your 4 Dolphins-1 Giants vote. Don't you understand why I could not include your vote? Go back to page 3. It was a silly vote. You didn't answer the question of the man who created this thread. However, you're entitled to answer in a silly fashion.
are you an idiot? Quote: Originally Posted by Cakes There's nothing to lighten up about because I wasn't too serious about this stuff. This is not a life-altering experience for me, this thread. You said in one post that you tallied my votes and then you changed your story to suit your immaturity! I just hate hypocrites and liars! I am done with this thread sonny. take your prozac and be quiet! And sonny I got annoyed with you for commenting stupidly! But even you have the right to an opinion! What a waste!
Top 5 most hated: 1. Miami Dolphins: as mentioned earlier, they have BY FAR the most delusional fanbase on the planet. Little do they know that they haven't been to a superbowl in 22 years. 2. New England Patriots: they are good, and they have my respect, but they beat my team left and right...fuck them 3. Dallas Cowboys: arrogant pricks...they also have Drew Bledsoe now, so I hope he and the cowpokes rot in hell. 4. Indianapolis Colts: old division rival, hate Peyton Manning. Watching the Colts hog a playoff spot every year just to shit the bed when it counts is akin to what the Braves do every year. 5. Buffalo Bills: oh, how should I start...Yes, they are my team, but nothing can take back the years of irreparable damage they have caused to my once optimistic, fun-loving nature. They are a pimple on the ass of football and continually get worse every year, but remain good enough to never land a top pick. Their offseason moves have been downright embarrassing(save for the Spikes move) year-in-year-out, and they haven't made the playoffs since 1999...i believe only the cardinals have had a longer drought, and that's soon to end with edge in their backfield. Buffalo doesn't usually get blown out either...they always appreciate a heartbreaking loss a couple times every year. This team sucks and they need to move. But, they are my heroin, and I can't kick it...and it's killing me.
Dude, you are skating on thin ice here. Cakes wasn't putting you down, and your level of rancor at him is hard to understand from any grown-up perspective. Calling him an idiot for trying to do an honest count of which teams Jet fans hate most doesn't help you, unless you want to get banned or something.
No, I did not tally your vote because it would badly skew the entire findings. When I made the post I mentioned I had to throw out some responses. You came back and complained and said I made a "dumb comment", I assume because I called certain posts "silly." To my discredit, I did not go back and find your post. I had assumed you were the guy who listed Herman Edwards at #3 (which was a vote I counted because I took it to mean "Kansas City Chiefs.") Turned out that wasn't you. You wrote a silly post that had the Dolphins 1-4 and the Giants at 5. I don't know where you're coming from with the "immaturity", "hypocrites", "liars", "prozac", and "stupidity" stuff. The only thing you can be upset about is me calling your vote "silly." I did not call you "silly."
1) phins 2) raiders 3) skins (their fans are so obnoxious, i live in MD and every offseason i hear of how the skins are goin to the SB next january.) 4) bucs. although they now have jerald sowell, i cant stand them. 5) pats...i hate them, but i respect them.
1. Raiders - I'm a fan from the sixties, this is a no brainer. 2. Giants - in my neighborhood there was no such thing as a "New York fan" - you had to pick Mets/Yankees and Jets/Giants (later on Islanders/Rangers; nobody cared enough about the Nets for it to be a question), and you know who I picked. 3. Dolphins - surprisingly, perhaps, I don't hate Marino, but the Mud Bowl and fake spike game are painful. Another reason to hate them that no one has mentioned is the insufferable arrogance of the members of the vastly overrated 1972 team who keep rooting for there to never be another undefeated team. 4. Patriots - don't really hate them, but they are the top divisonal rival, so I certainly root against them. 5. Bills - actually, don't hate them at all, but you wanted 5, and they are in the division.
Not to take anything away from the worthy cause of hating the Dolphins, Statjeff, but isn't that a bit of an urban legend? There's even something about it on snopes.com. See below: http://www.snopes.com/sports/football/miami72.asp
Not enough people hate the Bills on this board...... You will. loltolhurst, you make me sick. Are you airseven on the Bills board or something?
Well, first of all, here is a quote from that page: I never thought that 45 guys got together for this, but (for example) when the Bears almost went undefeated in 1985, a bunch of the 1972 guys went to the December 2 game against Miami to root against them, something I thought was classless. I also distinctly remember seeing pictures of a bunch of them having champagne about this years ago (on MNF, I think). They've gotten so much heat over it that now all of a sudden it isn't true. I'd like you to find any quote about this from Don Shula from more than 5 years ago - I don't think that you can. And for me, what compounds it is that the 1972 team wasn't all that great - they had an easy regular season schedule (the teams they played were a collective 70-88-4 in their other games on the schedule), and were anything but dominant in the postseason, winning 20-14 (behind 14-13 in the 4th quarter), 21-17 (behind 10-7 in the 3rd quarter), and 14-7, respectively. Going undefeated is impressive, of course, and they deserved to win the SB, but I think the 12-2 1973 team was actually better - they had a much tougher schedule (the teams they played were a collective 94-89-4 in their other games on the schedule), they gave up fewer points, had more Pro Bowlers, had a better QB (Griese was hurt in 1972), and rolled through the postseason, winning 34-16, 27-10, and 24-7, respectively.
1-Patriots 2-Giants 3-Bills 4-Dolphins 5-Giants------yes, I hate the Giants because my girlfriend is a huge giant fan and she pisses me off when she talks about last year, she tends to forget that the Giants sucked for the past 4 years while the jets were good.
