if truth is the jets flunked him than he really caught the short end of the stick, being a pawn. but then again, if hes not hurt he just needs to be a player and go show people the jets made a mistake.
The other guy who got a big message out of the Suggs flunk and trade reversal was Derrick Strait. It'll be interesting to see if his career upticks or if he continues on the 2 years and out of the NFL pace he is on now.
that was a great post. you failed to mention how shula got away with leaving the tarp off the field the week before the jets played in the 84 champ game.:shit:
AMEN to that one!! You are 150% right. I actually hope we did flunk his ass on purpose. Finally a CS & FO that have a pair!
and on the character thing... the same things were being said when the Patriots acquired Dillon from Cincy, but it worked out pretty OK for them. now, i'm not trying to compare Dillon and Barlow in terms of talent because that's plain silly; but sometimes, the guys who are perceived negatively in one place, go to another place, and aren't so sour after all. cheers
Well said indeed. The Jets and Mangini are rebuilding for the future. We havegotten screwed more than I care to remember and I never saw the media come to our defense. Where were they when Herm and KC violated policy? Never saw much support from them on a stadium solution. All they did was go gaga over Herm's speaches and disguised his bad play calling by calling his coaching inspirational. Give it time. Winning will quiet all the media whores once and for all.
