That was a tough year, that was really the first awful year I experienced as a fan. we only won 4 games and were getting killed left and right. In '87 we only won 6 but that was strike year and replacement games. Other than that worst season was 7-9. 1989 was brutal.
Yet, it still wasn't a time of total despair. It was not nearly as bad as it would get a few years later.
actually the next few years we had some hope. went to 6 wins in 1990, then 8 and a playoff berth in 1991. 1992 really started the darkest years. 1992-1996 were brutal.

I don't bash players, I am not a pathetic lowlife like the average fan. I discuss realistically. I appreciate what Ken did but to pretend like he was great is not being honest. I get involved in many different discussions, sometimes I don't even know who I am responding to. You are a big fan of mine and try to engage, I have no idea who you are.

I am a Ken O'Brien fan, was my favorite player as a kid. I understand this game much better than the average fan for which you are included. I don't watch pregame shows but thank you for deflecting from your crappy posts as usual.
