part of this is just what you get when you have the most popular sport. a large large percentage of the fans dont really grasp or care to grasp the game. they have only minimal interest in what actually happens in the game and they simply use it as an excuse to hang out. for me i have no interest in drinking more than 2 beers before or at a game. i love football and not watching or remembering the game would be so disappointing. it completely defeats the purpose of going to a game.
