I'll take my chances with him coming back after missing close to what would be a month. Maybe not at 100 percent either. I'm just saying no matter who we might be playing , we'll have a very good chance.
Pats fate rests on health. Edelman, McCourty, Amendola, especially need to be ready to go. A couple out of Vollmer or one of the injured guards, Chung, and Chandler would help also. With McCourty the Pats DB corp is good. We saw what happens when a rookie safety and a journeyman corner have to chase around good receivers.
A Cincy win last night would have helped them most. Cincy would have locked up a first round bye, allowing NEP to give everyone 3-4 weeks rest before first playoff game. Going to Denver never ends well, but the prospect of having to potentially play AFCCG at Cincy fears no one. Now NEP is in must-win mode Sunday as Denver should no way loose to Chargers.
yeah, but the good news for them is they play Miami Miami has been absolutely brutal. They lost at home to Indy and Indy didn't even have a quarterback after 40 year old Hasselbeck got hurt (again).
But they still have to play to win which means playing players they otherwise would have rested for 3 weeks. And for some reason playing at Miami has not been a given.
