I call the last ten years "heavy bong use" mode. There are many reasons since the Music City Miracle that the BILLS have sucked, or were good but failed to live up to expectations. I don't even like the idea of Jauron still being the HC, but I understand the move. Edwards is in his third year. This is his year. A coaching change would be another excuse if he fails. We'll see what he's got.

As far as the JETS, I've heard my fair share of Kellen backers, but there were way more loud-mouthed fans boasting that the JETS were in the SB because Farve was here. I think you guys have a better shot with Kellen than with Sanchez. I think Sanchez is a reach. I saw nothing wrong with keeping Pennington here and grooming Kellen until he was ready. I do like Rex Ryan, but will he be another Coordinator that can't make the transition to HC? No one can say until he has at least a season under his belt.

AGREE!!!!!! His career record with Chicago is 35-45 over five seasons, for an average of 7-9 per season. His first three seasons with Buffalo, 21-27. Yup, you guessed it, an average of 7-9. I am not happy that he is here, but he is, so like it or not, I just have to hope he finally figures it out. He's got some nice, young talent to work with. Getting pressure on the QB would be a good start. If not, then I hope Cowher is still around.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about this offseason and continue to be in the future - Cowher in Buffalo. I hope the Bills are not just keeping Jauron around until it's certain that Cowher wants to come back.

I could see that, but I think he would want a higher profile gig like Dallas which could be up soon. Who knows. He could have the run of the Bills for years to come though.

It all depends on the conditions of the hire in Dallas, I guess. Jones gave Parcells control for a while and then reverted to his old tricks, I think it would take a ton of money for Cowher to put up with that. I'd sure prefer to see him in Dallas.

AFC East would be insane with Belicheat, Parcells (albeit not as HC) and Cowher. Ryan would have to do some serious homework every week....
