    I have been out for about 4 years, and this is the first time I have grown a beard for over 2 weeks. Mine looks patchy as well, but would love to let it go for 3 more weeks!

    Ha, yeah. Trim - not shave. Clean it up a tad. A wild, bushy beard is going to be a good thing to have in the cold of Heinz Field (and I had one for the regular season game here), but, damn it man, I gotta be able to eat and drink things without making a mess!

    I looked at Super Bowl tickets at halftime of last year's AFC Championship and I know people who lost thousands last year actually buying them - that's another reason why I think it's bad karma. Not just for the Jets, but personally.

    Yup I've been rocking the playoff beard. Although that's largely because I couldn't bring myself to use any products made by Gillette in the week leading up to the Patriots game... :smile:

    Damn, this beard is starting to get real itchy!!

    I personally havent trimmed it at all so my neck is real grizzly.

    I did, but have shaved most weeks now. Done with all the superstition. We don't need it, we're fucking great and going to win the superbowl with grande Testigliones and not crystal balls.

    Haven't shaved. Haven't gotten my hair cut, which I need. Haven't washed my lucky #28 authentic. I'm ready.

    Going solid Still... the GF made a comment once and i told her to shut it! Needless to say shaving of the beard has not been mentioned sense!

    She knows better than to get between me and my team!

    It's the opposite here. i tell the wifey I'm taking it off and she;s like "you better not" with the eye that says if i do and we lose it's all my fault. :lol:

    I need an update here. Who is seeing this through? I look like an extra from the "Littlest hobo",
    perhaps a little before some on this boards time but my wife is complaining that I am becoming a bit "scratchy". ( no further details forthcoming)
    Are you guys still rocking the play- off beard?

    I've been growing mine all season since I saw Braylon's mean beard. My GF can now put it into a ponytail(?) when she gets bored... it aint going anywhere now we are on a roll.
