Pray that the game gets flexed.

After the phantom Hold on Ihedigbo against San Fran, and that officiating debacle agaisnt the Bills...

The Refs will be far less likely to try to throw a game in front of a national audience.

    Please allow me to elaborate.

Favre's second INT...He takes a blow to the head by Lindell, as he's delivering the ball.

Clear Penalty, that (A: Affected the throw but...) B: Should have been 15 yds and a first, negating 3 points by Buffalo.

Also...In the 4th quarter Favre hits Keller in the EZ. Clear PI call. OFFICIALS PICK UP THE FLAG.

(Any one that tapes go back and freeze that frame...DB is clearly (it isn't even close) faceguarding, and the ball is pretty much in Kellers hands as he outjumps the DB.)

Net loss to Jets 4 points.

Thats the 7 points they had to make up with the defensive play late.

Yes, I have season tickets and going to this game. Even tho this will fuck up the tailgate, I'm more concerned over the fact that we've won almost every game (except NE on Week 2) when we play home at 1pm. I know this is me being superstitious, but at this point, I'll take any advantage (no matter how big or small, mental or physical) we can take.

I just wish the league would leave the Jets schedule alone. Fuck primetime. At this point, it's not worth it.

Check out the last two weeks of officiating.
(TD called back on phantom hold, Blow to the head not called,Pi in the end zone PICKED UP!!!!!)

NY = sure $$$ for the NFL.

Miami (w/o playoffs) = $#!t for the NFL.

So...the NFL has a vested interest in Miami being > than NYJ.

You want the flex game to even out the officiating.

I think that was a 4 PM game. I remember barely making it to my 8:30 port authority bus back to Binghamton after the game.

You are 100% correct. This would be a playoff game in the regular season. Win...move on. Lose...go home.

Miami and the Jets both have to win this Sunday, but if that happens...

Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets
    Sunday Night Football
    Kickoff at 8:15pm
    ESPN

Can't wait to go to this game...should have a playoff atmosphere.

You may be right, which would then make that 1pm @ home stat even more important. All I remember (and the only thing I want to remember) from this game is the sweltering heat. I didn't bring my GB powder that day so my balls were boiling that day.

Do you remember how the officiating was on that MNF game against the Chargers? You may be right too Hobbes, but I really don't wanna take that chance in hopes of getting good calls when the time throws the team psyche off. I know it's a stupid reason that I'm arguing for here, but this is pretty goddamn important game.

    I will take Sunday night

NBC does not have to make a decision till next Tuesday,6 days before Sunday. I am sure if both teams win, it will be the Sunday night game. I normally hate night games, I am not even crazy about 4 pm games, give me all 1 pm games, but in this case, with what's on the line, I want the Meadowlands to be the center of the NFL universe against our moste hated team and with all the story lines, you got to be kidding me. What a freakin setup. H

I'd rather the game be at 1pm. This way the Jets fans will stay in the seats and not leave at halftime.

From the jets website about beer sales. I says nothing about night games

Guests who attend events at the Meadowlands Sports Complex expect to have a good time. As such, it is our duty to ensure that those guests who drink alcoholic beverages do so responsibly. The following is a list of the alcohol policies instituted at the Stadium:
? Guests will not be permitted to bring alcoholic beverages into the Stadium
? Guests will not be allowed to enter the Stadium if they appear intoxicated
? Guests wishing to purchase or consume any alcoholic beverage must provide valid proof of age
? Limit of 2 beers per possession
? Alcoholic beverages are not vended in the seating areas
? Beer sales are suspended at the beginning of the third quarter or earlier at management?s discretion
? Drunk and disorderly behavior, as well as violation of any alcohol policy, will result in ejection from the Stadium without refund and could result in the loss of season tickets
? Guests are prohibited from leaving the Stadium with alcoholic beverages
