Yo, what the hell is wrong with you? Is it your job to police the forum and tell people not to be happy about the possibility of getting Bush? You need to calm down. If people want to get worked up about it let them. Not like we've had much to get worked u about in the last 38 years. Damn, some people need somthing to b*tch about. You should be freakin happy about the opportunity we could have tomorrow.

For a trade up, they trying to get Jets to trade up and Jets could be tempting but don't know if price is going to be worth it. Also believes he will definitely not drop passed pick #3 which we had at week 17.

Uhhh, if Bush goes three that will be incredibly annoying because we won a meaningless game late and could've had Reggie.

That's good that they are trying to get the Jets to trade up, hopefully they will bite. It is worth it! (unless it is some ridiculous offer like our 2 firsts, 2nd, and future 1st, but if it's reasonable do it!)

Another way of looking at this is it would be a pressure free situation for the FO to trade up. If Brick was a safe pick - think of how safe it would be to trade up for the consensus #1 prospect of the last 3 years(at least).

I would like to fill as many holes as possible with our picks - but passing on a talent as special as Bush is not something I agree with. I would be willing to give up at least what was given for Eli(which is quite a bit). At that point however it would be a necessity to go OL heavy with any remaining picks that we have.

Thank goodness our FO has made all of the so called "second tier" FA signings so far this offseason. The people who were bitching that we didn't get any "Stud" FA's should be chanting Hallelujah right now. If we signed one good rather than the grouping of solid guys that we did we wouldn't really be in any kind of position to trade up. The "Hold the Fort" guys are what really makes something like this feasible.

P.S. - IF we can get Bush it will be a god send to still have CMart on the roster to groom him. What better way to learn how to be a pro?

Yep, I remember telling people and they knocked me for it....now look.

Jets win games they need to lose
Jets lose games they need to win

very frustrating franchise but got to live with it.

    That would be just dandy.
    Williams- 1
    Ferguson- 2
    Bush- 3

Those are the only three guys I would be happy with going to the Jets at 4 and if all were off the board, I would be disappointed and would demand a trade out of the 4th spot.

God that would make me depressed for a Saturday day/night

The 3 safe picks IMO. And I would cry literally knowing we had 3rd pick until we beat Buffalo week 17. Sometimes you need to but loyalty and all that aside and do whats best for the team and hope they lose because that indeed is best for the team. What does a Week 17 meaningless win over a sorry Buffalo team do for me? Nothing, can';t get enjoyment, only screws us a potential franchise player.
