I don't trust him in any spot bug garbage time catching the ball. He's not reliable and is easily coverable by a decent backer or safety in my opinion. People think about his 40 time and cream over it when in reality on the field he's slow and lumbering.
I doubt he makes it past this year. Dwayne Allen would be a nice fit especially because he actually blocks but he'll probably command bigger money than we'll be looking to spend. I like Amaro but having a tightend that doesn't block well or make up for it by commanding Graham/Gates coverage (or being able to split out like they do) is really an incomplete player. Say what you want about Anthony Becht but we played with 3 tackles during his reign here. It helped the running game tremendously.
