    Who wrote that?
Depending on the poster, I'll let you know if I consider that person to be a knowledgable person.

plz ESPN always takes cheap shots at the Yanks. How can I forget the day A-Rod hit his walkoff vs baltimore. He comes home and throws his helmet in the sky and they say, David Ortiz does it way better. They piss me off time and time again

They perform fallacio one moment and another attack your team's underachieving, however they talk about both those teams way too much

Seriously now, it looks like I am taking a dump on another poster with that comment, but that was not my intention.

Above I wrote, "I don't recall any knowledgable person seriously saying the Yankess were done at this time last year".

Then GreenMachine presented a post whereby a person apparently seriously stated the Yankess were done.

I jokingly responded that I'd like to know the identity of that poster.

You can see I was being difficult with GM rather than shitting on the unknown poster.

Gotcha, I just read it wrong, I guess. I'm not really trying to pick an argument or anything anyway. My bad.

I don't think you should like that no matter what the AL Central standings stack up as here on 7/3.

I believe the Tigers will make the postseason. They will fix some of their bullpen problems by July 31. If the Mets pass on Dotel, don't be surprised if Detroit trades for him. The Tigers will also be interested in Otsuka and Gagne.

The Indians and Mariners are the two teams Yankess fans should concern themselves with unless something crazy happens by September 1 or so.

    That's not a problem.

Also, for the record, I'm not sure there is a regular baseball forum poster who is a moron, anyway.

The Yankees have a string of 19 straight easy games after the break. They should win them all but obviously they won't. How they do in those 19 games will decide their season.

I don't know if we will make it but I know we aren't done yet. I have definitely lost confidence but these next 3 weeks or so will determine if we are done or not.

Eight of the first twelve against Tampa Bay, who can't buy a win, lately. That's a nice way to come off the break. The only down side, from a divisional standpoint, is that Boston spends the next two weeks at home.

On the other hand, the next two weeks might tell us where Toronto is going in the second half.

Mets will make the playoffs, first round elimination.

The statue of Carlos Beltran will be caught looking to eliminate them one more time.
