That is, indeed hideous, quite possibly the worst depiction of any football uniform at any level ever created. HOWEVER - it is also the first Jets uniform I have ever seen that uses a depiction of an airplane with BALLS on it. Maybe someone could start with a logo using a mean looking airplane.
Even concussed opposing players would have no issues identifying who they were playing if faced with those uniforms.
Yes i agree with you. For a complete change gotta get a talented designer/artist to configure a cool but yet simple logo incorporating a fighter jet, ny, and football. I mean really .... a bad ass fighter jet could and SHOULD be the most intimidating logo on earth. Yes, we are coming into your town to annihilate you. Like i said its gotta be done right. Some fans should get together and start collecting good ideas and pitching them. Woody is certainly up for logo change or at least an alternate. This is a fact directly from nis mouth as of last year. Cause i'll say it a tenth time our current logo is boring, bland, dull, and the way u get away with that is with mystique and aura, and sorry i love the jets, but they just dont carry that. Time to make our mystique now.
I actually really dig this except the logo is kind of hidden in the helmet. You could outline it with white borders to make it pop off better.
You & I are on the same page on this issue. Although I will say that I still like the current Uni's..I just wish they'd throw in an alternate look along the lines of what you've been saying. Something sleek w/ a true fighter Jet.
Oh boy, those uniforms make us look like an Irish nightmare. I feel like the league'd be calling us the Ireland Jets (or New York Patties). Of course this might really motivate us against the Browns and their orange helmets..... too much?
Dude, try classy and tasteful. You want some kind of top gun shit as our logo? How about we get jerseys that glow in the dark while were at it and have christmas lights as trim for the numbers?! Our coaching staff can dress up as air traffic controllers, great!
