I mean no disrespect but I really just don't understand why your on the JETS forum at 130am? couldn't wait to get over here and see how our board blew up after a loss??? Well i can assure you that the Jets may not be built to beat the defensive elite, but we are built to beat the Pats and thats all that matters. And when we do this next week I will personally make an account at your forum and scour it at 2 am looking to rub it in the faces of you are your fans. which i should have done after you lost to buffalo who looked surprisingly human this sunday. but I have more class than you, Brady, and your entire fan base!

Bottom line is Brady is notoriously one of the BIGGEST sore losers in the entire NFL and theres no denying it. Unfortunately he doesn't lose often so its not something that is really harped on by the media.

This is how I interpreted that.
I'd argue against it based on the fact that Sanchez is his fucking captain and he's been on the team for the shortened preseason and four games.

Yes, Sanchez had a lot of wild passes but that's his fucking QB. For the #3 WR who is going to be gone next season to say that; bad form. Plain and simple.

For me there's a time difference and I enjoy talking football here. I'd never talk smack here, even in a Jet loss. I think there is a god chance the Jets leave MA with a W. Its a young season and the Jets are still one of the elite teams.

That's why you're a good poster, no need. Cali, too

Cato...agree 100 percent. I was referring more to the Schotty crap, which is how I interpreted some of Mason's rant.

I agree with you if what he said was actually directly throwing sanchez under the bus. But if it was more like "I'm the veteran, let me tell you young guys what the deal is...", I'm definitely ok with it. I doubt he really trashed on Sanchez, right now he's not really the problem. The offensive line is where this begins and ends folks.

I don't know the context of what he said or how he said it but if Mason is criticizing the QB in front of the media then he is out of line. He was brought in to be a leader but calling your command in front of everybody doesn't help for shit.

Of course, the entirety of my opinion was based on the assumption that he was directly attacking Sanchez, which, as I have said, I have no way of actually knowing is true or not and is entirely hypothetical in this discussion.

This is just me...other people might interpret it other ways...I thought it was a shot at mostly the OC, but definitely a tweak at Sanchez. He asked the media how many points the offense gave up. I thought that was a shot at Sanchez.
Let's face facts, he had a bad game. Let's see how he responds.

That type of comment could go against multiple people. He did have the longest catch from scrimmage for the Jets so it could be going against the WRs. It could also be going against himself.

My opinion is that if it was going against Sanchez at all then he needs to shut his mouth the next time he gets that urge when talking to the media. If it's not going against Sanchez then my posts on the matter are pretty much irrelevant.

After the game ends, all the competitive bullshit ends.

They don't love the teams they're on like we do. Its a job.

i think your posts are fine, fwiw. people taking offense and attacking you are mainly just ticked-off about the loss and being silly.

I still hate that, I'm not gonna lie and say I grew up in an era when guys would fight an opponent in a bar if they saw them after a game because I didn't but people invest a lot into teams. I don't care if your friends or not do it when the cameras are not rolling or in the locker room. Maybe I'm just an asshole or ultra competitive but when I play softball or disk if I lose I shake hands but I'm not yucking it up with the opposing team even if I know people on the that team. I get pissed when I lose even with something as meaningless as rec league softball. I guess it'd be different if I was getting paid millions to play softball but I hate losing and it eats me up.

As opposed to all the other teams that only play well against the top defenses. Makes sense.

I know it might not seem as relevant as it does to me but a lot of my friends at Pitt were Rugby players and the one thing that always struck me was the fact that once the game ended they were always congenial afterwards...even with the fucking faggot, cousin-fucking assholes from West Virginia.

It's a job to the players and there is every chance that their job is going to change cities from year to year. That type of anger against a specific team isn't exactly logical at any point in their careers.

    Stalk much?

The point that guy was making is that the Jets get pushed around by physical teams (a la Ravens and Steelers). He's right.

That's just it, free agency has changed sports forever. Guys like Derrick Jeter and Kobe Bryant are rare. I mean shit, Wayne fucking Gretzky played for how many teams?

That's what I was going to reply with - Free Agency is the biggest reason why these guys will give hugs and what not.

But if the Jets won today, we wouldn't care who they said hello to.

And Baltimore is a different place for Rex and these Jets. 4 of the players came from there, and plenty of coaches.

That's what I meant when I said maybe Rex, and Sanchez and or Schotty being the cracks, I don't think it is the o-line, because that isn't something that can be fixed over night, dudes are under performing and key guys are injured, shit happens. When he says something like no one wants to point it out, it's gotta be Schotty or Sanchez, probably Schotty.
