I think this was one of the last Jet forums he had not ben banned from. I'm active on Jetsfansunited as alot of members from tho old NYJets.com forum went there when they closed. Maine had been banned from NYJets.com for racial slurs and didn't last long on the JFU forum for the same reason. In fact he came here bitching about getting banned there. If anyone misses him, check out Maine raider lol. He's on various other team forums with the same MO.
Even though I realized his slur was aimed at a middle aged white guy I was sure there was a racial aspect to it. That was why I said something. Glad to know I was not overstepping and he has had issues with racial comments elsewhere. When someone throws comments out like that you generally know the thinking behind them.
Wasn't it on this forum he had his " the only reason Bowles is HC is because he's black" tirade late last season ? Either way the Jets are better without Hack and the board is better without Mainejet.
Yes, he definitely did say that. I think he may have also had a previous ban for something racial, all I will add is goodbye and good riddance.
His racial slur wasn't the only reason he got banned. He was on strike 10 probably. I reached out to him privately many times and warned him. Asked him politely but nope. I even tried to protect him in the name of free speech. Yet he came back with more BS. This last incident was what we couldn't tolerate. Racism and racist slurs aren't tolerated. At least not on my watch. When it comes to the opening post. For me it is only TGG Forum. I just made a guest appearance to the board Stokes went after he was banned. I wasn't a moderator at the time. Man oh man. They gave me a truly great beating. Not the polite kind. Stokes told them I was a goat loving Muslim. Lol. Now seriously. The site owner Petrozza is the difference maker. He doesn't control the board members with his agenda. He is a Trump supporter and I am a Muslim who hates Trump. And we don't agree on most of the politics. Yet he didn't have a problem making me a mod. Cman is another great admin. Believe me. Moderators are also great. On top of that we have excellent posters. Most of them better humans than me I guess. We have the great Matt Robinson, FJF, The Dark Night, joe, The Waterboy 101Ganggreen, CBG, jaywayne, Dierking, abyzmul, jetophile, statjeff, xxedgexx. Without them and others who probably I forgot their names this place is just another sports board. But with them in it this place is as great as it is. Tell me if you don't agree. We don't have an axe to grind and we blend in just fine. I love this board. Everybody please don't go anywhere.
