I just want him to make his FGs, thats all that matters. Sign a kickoff specialist. Look at the colts. Jose Cortez has the leg on the kickoffs, but he can't kick FGs (parcells cut him in the locker room after numerous misses). Vanderjact handles the FGs as he is a great kicker. Let Nuge do the FGs and sign a kickoff specialist, maybe even give graham a shot, he sure has a big leg.
I was saying during the year that they should give Graham a shot at KOs. But TBird makes the right point. Nuge kicks the ball up. So the guys get downfield to make the play. Just kicking it inside the 10 doesn't mean anything if it's a line drive. All decent returners can get 20 yards with a little bit of room. Like RObA said, as long as he makes the FGs. That's what we really need him for.
He said he was gonan work with Olindo Mare from Miami because he is also not a very big guy but can really boom the ball. This was on his blog at the end of last season.....he has his own website maybe you could check there...
