I just got banned from q Patriots site without even trying - and I've been a member there for a while. BANNED FOR TROLLING. WHEN YOU CAN RETURN: NEVER. It's kind of disappointing, really, because it really wasn't my intent. I was kidding around, and my posts got deleted. Then I said something in a serious vein, and got the axe. Go figure. I guess they're so thin-skinned after publicly treating the Giants like rubes that they're having zero tolerance. No thinking, no criticism, no joking, no talking! Just proves the point, I guess.
I would think there's no links available. Everything's gone. One thread was about Belichick high-fiving fans after the loss and I said something like he's showing community spirit before he gets suspended from football. Another one where someone said at least they're not talking about being us dirty and I said that's because Brandon Jacobs didn't poke Wilfork in the eye, that would just be wrong. Stuff like that. Beheaded. That being said, it really surprised me. No laughing at funerals, I guess. In a way I suppose I can see why, but if you're going to be arrogant as a team and as a fan base that's under a veil of suspicion, no less, you should also be able to take the hit in good humor. At least I'd think so.
^Apparently an understandable misunderstanding. I got re-instated. Hell, even Jets fans misread me, so in hindsight, how surprised should I really have been? It was nice of the Admin. considering the shellacking most NE boards are getting in general. Hats off. EDIT: Although all of my posts since I joined are wiped out. Heh.
