I thought they gave you 10 points for spelling your own name correctly.

They'd be idiots if they didn't.

Unless you think using an antiquated and non adaptive test is the way to go.

It's not what I think but rather what the NFL teams think. I doubt that they consider a test they continue to use to be "antiquated," why do you?

Please provide proof of the level of value that NFL teams place on the Wonderlic test.

You get to answer my question before I answer yours.

    Fail much?

It's sad that you think a valid answer to your pathetic argument is to pretend to be the board shrink.

There is no proof anywhere that any team uses the Wonderlic to evaluate players.

It's sad that you think you have all the answers but produce nothing to prove it. All you do is bloviate and attempt to disparage with absolutely nothing to support your feeble claims.

Do you really think that the NFL would be spending money on administering this test for almost forty years if it wasn't being used by any team? You call it antiquated but refuse to answer why you do - the version used today is only ten or eleven years old. It was Tom Landry who instituted its use - have you ever heard of him? Do you think he knew anything about football?

“You can have one of two players who are about equal in talent. One of them is smart and the other is maybe not so smart. Which one you gonna pick?” - Bill Walsh

What does that have to do with it? Reverse logic?

Sure. I'd have a monkey throw darts at a picture of Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, and Allen. Instant improvement.

When there's results out of a newer test, and there's evidence that the nfl may view it that way most people know that by now. And no, I'm not gonna show you where it is.

Absolutely right. He's probably been the top QB since 2016.

Then why give the test if you don't use in your evaluation in some capacity? You can say there's no proof anywhere that any team uses any of the countless drills and tests they have these prospects take as none of us are on the inside. However, it's more likely than not they do take the Wonderlic into some consideration.

All of these "off the field" tests are like a weather system pushing Hurricane Allen up the draft board, determining where he will make land fall. Lets hope it continues to push him up high enough so we don't get any bad weather. I live in FL and really do feel like I'm getting day to day forecasts during hurricane season lol. If he ends up here, which is a great possibility, and becomes great.....I would be thankful and you guys can remind me of how stupid this thread was =). Just got done watching more film of him against Boise and some of those throws scared me, some of the throws he got away with in college would also be turn into ints against professional corners/safetys.

You're the one who posted this:

"Plus he comes from money, so it's he doesn't need the payday, he's set for life, he can't be dedicated like some broke kid."

The Mannings - Peyton and Eli - both came from a privileged family - it didn't dampen their competitive fire.

You do realize that I said some of the criticism that he doesn't care comes from the idea that he is wealthy and doesn't need it? So where does that turn into anyone with money doesn't have the fire to play? No one questioned the Manning's desire to play and be successful.
