Exactly. Im gutted about the Jets, weird season. BUT I thought people as football fans would want to see the two best teams in the sport go at it, for one dance. One game, only one winner. Two brothers going at it. Seeing a genius play call on the safety at the end. I Love Superbowls. And I love play-off football. seeing great teams play each other is amazing. I loved last nights game. And Im glad Baltimore won.
I hate to sound Champ-lIke, but losing the SB sucks. Do you really thing 49ers fans feel good today? Especially the way they lost with horrible play calling on that last series and Harbaugh taking one of the worst time outs in the history of football. The Jets are currently as far away from a SB title as they were in the 90 s. there are few pieces in place . In any event I always watch the game and usually enjoy it unless it is Giants-Pats and we have to play the lesser of two evils game.
I'm with you. If you consider yourself a NFL fan, I can't imagine not watching the Super Bowl. As football fans it's our last chance to see quality football for 7 months. What would you be doing for 4 hours while basically every male human being in the country between the ages of 10-80 is watching the game? Why not watch it? And I'll even go a step further ... I don't know why you wouldn't write your name in a Super Bowl box somewhere. I'm not saying to bet big money ... just a few bucks to add some fun to the game. It's an American tradition.
the superbowl is a great spectacle, if it depresses you just don't watch it. I watched it and thought it was a fun game to watch, great performances, great coaching and the refs let them play. halftime was blah and the ads were mediocre but still a fun game. if it makes you feel depressed turn it off and read a book or something.
I've been singing that same song since the first day he arrived. And to top it off, Ryan was the one who said he wanted a new face for the franchise and then picked Sanchez. That further compounded my misery from the out set. A blowhard windbag coach selecting a know nothing no talent QB to be his face. I am counting the days until the franchise is rid of both of them. (Unless it is less days to the franchise raising the VLT) But that is hardly likely at this point.
U do realize that RR dad was also a blowhard & his bro is still out of work & is also a blowhard
God doesn't care about the Super Bowl and he isn't out to get the Jets, they are simply a poorly run organization from the Owner down and have been for decades. That said I still love the Super Bowl, eventually the Jets will get there, but I'm actually picking the Islanders going to the Cup finals before the Jets make a Super Bowl, at this point they seemingly have zero chance, you don't go to a Super Bowl let alone win one without a QB.
Super Bowl Sunday is, was and always will be one of my favorite days of the year. The only instances I was depressed obviously were the Super Bowls following the Jet AFC champ losses. This one was great........no Pats, Giants, Steelers or Peyton...........it's been 10 years since that was the case.
