No they don't. The rest of the thursday games are after day games on Sunday. Also we are flying accross the country and playing at 3,000 foot elevation. Most teams go a day early to adjust to the elevation but we have the late game and a short week so I don't think we can.
Well, Hes dosent have to Travel to Denver as they are the home team on Thursday night. He wont be playing in a Divisonal game that will most likely decide the AFC East Title, game at 8:30pm Sunday (over by 12am and home to NY Monday 3am we play). We basically have one and a half days to prepare from Denver before we have to board a plane. Denver play's at KC 12pm Central Time on Sunday, Home by 7pm Sunday night, Practice Monday, Tuesday, Wends, and walk through Thursday am. So Yes, major disadvantage compaired to Timmy.
We are more built to beat the Eagles. They cant stop the run, we have the defense to stop Vick. The Patriots dont have the team to beat the Eagles, Vick will murder them and the Eagles cornors should slow down the Patriots passing. I like our chances better than the Pats.
This was unfortunately because of the lock-out. They had to do weird things to the schedule because of the threat of cancelling games. They wanted if certain weeks were cancelled that there still could be a fair season. We got the short end, but thats just how it worked out.
yeah i saw that also, but damn, i believe the jets are gonna win every single game from now on and going 13-3! we will not need to worry with the other teams!
our best shot to win the division is a W on Sunday and identical 11-5 records where we only have 1 division loss against their 2. there's no way in hell they lose more than 5 and I can't see us going 7-1 down the stretch to have a better record.
I agree. Live down here in the DMV as well. They have the most delusional fanbase of any fanbase in sports. They win 3 games and they go off buying SB tickets. Its comical. Then by week 6 they get their hearts broken every year. Its hilarious. That said, there is no damn way we lose to the Skins. Or else I will have to quit my job.
Tebow could have three MONTHS to prepare for our Defense and I doubt he would pass for more than 100 yards. I'm much more worried about us handling the altitude on short rest, but if we can deal with that, it should be an easy win.
Why? It's only the first game of the 2nd half of the season. There will be 7 games remaining after that. Even the losing team will not be eliminated from the AFCE title or a playoff spot.
If the Jets lose the game, I don't see them winning the division. They would be 2 games back of NE with a harder schedule left. As a Jets fan, I want the division. I'm tired of the Wild Card. So, from my perspective, it's simply an enormous game.
I hear ya, but even if the Jets lose, they will have still have a good shot at the AFCE. Both Pats and Jets have games remaining with Miami and Buffalo and I think it will all come down to which team (Pats or Jets) beat the teams the are "suppose to beat" down the stretch.
Patriots have shown they can beat the teams they are supposed to they have just struggled with playoff contending teams. Jets are more likely to win ones they shouldnt and lose one they should win.
Honestly I'd love to win the division, but if we get the wild card it might actually turn out better for us. If we win the division and don't get a bye, I think we are in a bad spot, if we get a bye, then its all good. But without a bye, we would in all likelihood be playing Pittsburgh or New England if Baltimore holds out. And as confident as I am of playing the Patriots in the playoffs, I would much rather go on the road to play teams like the Texans or Chargers (if they win their division) who we own.
We are 1-3 on the road and 4-0 at home. Home game will be much better then a road game. Besides if we win the division we can get a bye. Baltimore looks to be the favorite for the #1 but Texans are not exactly a world beater cruising into the 2 seed.
