Nope, that won't happen. The Giants are in Arizona that afternoon, so that game can only start at 4 PM and they will not have the New York games going head to head.
about thursday nites game on nfl network.....do sports bars generally speaking get nfl network? we have time warner cable here and time warner does not subscribe to nfl network. what shot do i have of watching the game in a sports bar?
Guys: it's a 12 day notice. This weeks games will not effect it. The decision will be made before even thursdays game is played. However, nationally, there are a lot of reasons to put Tenn and Jets on primetime. - Possible matchup of the last undefeated and a 7-3 jets team who won three straight. - Brett Favre verse "best team in nfl" Lots of intrigue, especially considering AR lost to Tenn in OT. - Even if the Jets lose this week,a nd tennesee loses as well - it will make the game all the more important. Tennesee wont want to lose and start falling back to the colts, and the Jets wouldn't be able to afford to lose if they want to try and stay at the top of the pack for ANY playoff spot. Aka: It could become a must win for either team. - Again, Brett Favre. The national numbers when he plays for people watching are phenominal. No doubt he is the most popular player in the NFL.
Yes I'm busted! You got me! It has nothing to do with the fact that it is the biggest test of the season for us this year. Thanks CSI Koz
