For what it's worth, Pierce has had interesting ways of expressing himself for some time now. He "complimented" Tom Brady by saying "He walks around like he's Prince Charles, like he's not supposed to get hit or something." He prefaced this statement by saying "no disrespect." I'm not saying he's some misunderstood compassionate soul (he once deliberately jumped offsides and hit an OL to get the team fired up) but I don't think what he says is worth getting as excited over as some seem to be.
Ohhh so I guess the Giants win over the Broncos is meaningless as is the one over the Bills. Hey I guess in his eyes the Jets never even won a SB. Jeez I guess that means the Mets haven't won the WS ever either considering it was over 20 years ago, jeez how about the poor Knicks? The way Pierce is talking they may as well disband the team.
Pierce's comments aside, disbanding the Knicks (or, at the very least, stripping Jim Dolan of ownership) would do them good.
