these occurrences are such a small fraction of everyday occurrences . They have always happened , it's just that someone somewhere found them useful for civil divide
Yeah but more often than not, whether the public likes it or not, the officer is either justified or has some reason for the decisions. Even if the decision they make is wrong, or an over reaction something still caused it.
They have to protect themselves first. have you ever seen the shoot/no shoot situational videos? It just sounds like a shit situation. Cop might have only heard him say GUN while reaching for his license and he saw the gun. That's why they teach to keep your hands on the wheel, inform the officer you have a gun and where it is and let them drive the situation. I'd never want to be a cop.
Yes, they have to protect themselves. But they don't have to protect themselves at the expense of the people they are serving and protecting. I wouldn't want to be a cop either. But have you actually watched Cops? I think I've probably watched about 3000 hours of it in the past 20 years. Something that always stuck with me is that when they're is a situation they feel uncomfortable with, they try to control the mind of the driver. Hands on the wheel. Hands where I can see them. Look at me. In these instances, all I see is laser focus behind the sights of an aimed weapon without the actual option of pacification. They have already chosen the option of deadly force as the first option. Please tell me you're not ignorant of this point. You're the guy championing Good Guy With A Gun.
Maybe all of you police apologists will get shot one day for incorrectly reaching for your wallet while being pulled over. Maybe then you'll change your minds.
I haven't watched cops in probably 20 years. It's just a split second decision. You know how quickly a gun can be drawn and fired. You see someone reaching for what you recognize as a gun and it catches you by surprise. There's no time to think about it they have to react instantly.
I think the word you were looking for was "simply." See, adverbs are used to modify verbs, not adjectives. Maybe you should get an education beyond middle school then come back to the big boy table to have this discussion.
They just showed what appeared to be a cop lying face down motionless on the ground in Dallas.... this is getting ugly very fast.
"Peaceful protests" I'm sorry but any cop is justified in what they do to any of those animals. I hope all of em are put in early graves tonight.
Great fucking comeback! I mean, I'm floored. I have no further arguments now. I now know, that because of an iPhone misuse of an adverb, that cops just like to shoot people for sport. How could I have not seen this before? It took the adverb correction for me to see it all clearly. Thank you for this .
Sorry Ubiquitous, me wanting black criminals to die isn't any different than you wanting white cops to die. So call for a moderator using your broken twat
