Casey Hampton has four career sacks from the NT position. Yet we all know he's a FORCE. I don't think DRob is ever going to be the Kevin Williams type of DT, but I think he can AND will be a Casey hampton type.
casey hampton is beast. he is main reason all those greats lb. are allow to run free and be great..he also was late rd 1st i believe. Robertson and the other Dt's couldnt keep vilma clean in the 4-3 defense. he is suppose to do it in the 3-4 defense.. but hey i have seen crazier things...i hope he does prove me wrong. i would love to eat crow.
I've alwasy been skeptical about the Dewayne as a 3-4 NT. However based on what the Jets have done this off-season, Mangini seems a lot more optimistic about Dewayne as a 3-4 NT.
Dewayne really should be better in a 4-3, but he never had another big body next to him which they tried to get in Pouha but he wasnt very good last year. Hes gonna have even lower numbers than last year but if he can play big enough to get two blockers on him, then the 3-4 can be very successful
